Q 1. Do you offer classes?
Ans 1. <p class="p1">We do! Two types. Both can be found on our eventbrite events page. One is a Hasty Bake 101 class that teaches you how to use your new Hasty Bake grill. These classes are held every other Saturday throughout the spring and summer. It’s a free class, but signups are required.</p><p class="p1">The other class type focuses on various meats, dishes or holidays- chicken, pork, brisket, tailgating, holidays, etc. These typically occur once a month throughout spring, summer, and fall. Class prices vary depending on the subject matter. All classes are held at the Tulsa Grill Store and a season pass is also available. </p>
Q 2. Do you refurbish Hasty Bakes?
Ans 2. <p class="p1">We no longer refurbish Hasty Bakes, but we can provide you with all the parts to do it yourself. It’s typically very cost-effective and takes only a few hours depending on the age of the grill.</p>
Q 3. Do you repair grills?
Ans 3. <p class="p1">We do not, but we can provide you with a list of local repair techs who might be able to help.</p>
Q 4. Do we ship charcoal?
Ans 4. <p>At this point in time, we do not. We’ve found that its cost prohibitive to the customer to ship as it’s heavy, awkward, and can get damaged easily. It’s readily available at our Tulsa locations and select grocers around the Tulsa area.</p>
Q 5. Why do I have to pay Oklahoma tax when paying over the phone?
Ans 5. <p>Sales at the Tulsa Grill Store are taxable based on our location. If you purchase online from <a class="c-link" href="http://hastybake.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-stringify-link="http://hastybake.com" data-sk="tooltip_parent">hastybake.com</a> and have products shipped to you, you’ll owe the taxes applicable to the city and state that you live in. However, purchases over the phone are processed the same way as in-store purchases, so you’ll owe Tulsa-area taxes.</p>
Q 6. Do we sell scratch and dent grills at any time other than the scratch and dent sale?
Ans 6. <p>We occasionally have scratch and dent grills available throughout the year, however, it’s rare. Feel free to ask us if you’re interested. Our Labor Day scratch and dent sale has the most inventory, though.<br /><b data-stringify-type="bold"></b></p>
Q 7. Where can I find the class/cooking schedules? Can I buy tickets in store?
Ans 7. <p>Just click on “Events” at the top of the page and you’ll be taken to our <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/o/hasty-bake-charcoal-grills-17922445020">Eventbrite</a> purchase page. Tickets are only sold online, however, there is a <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/o/hasty-bake-charcoal-grills-17922445020">link</a> available in the store to purchase from your phone.</p>
Q 8. Do I have to have a ticket to attend the 101 class?
Ans 8. <p>The class is free, but a ticket is required to reserve your spot due to space constraints. Tickets can be purchased from the “Events” link at the top of our page.</p>
Q 9. What’s the difference between the Tulsa grill store and Hasty Bake.
Ans 9. <p>The Tulsa Grill Store is owned and operated by Hasty Bake and located at the Hasty Bake factory. The store sells multiple different brands of gas grills, pellet cookers and wood-burning smokers, however, the only charcoal grills available are Hasty Bake.</p>
