Ans 1. We charge according to the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association fee guide (the fees suggested by our association). Some hospitals bill above these, many are at fee guide, and some are below.
Q 2. Do you offer payment plans?
Ans 2. While we do not offer payment plans, we strive to offer a treatment plan that will fit within your budget. We also work with many third-party lenders.
Q 3. Do you have access to blood products?
Ans 3. We are proud to have the Canadian Animal Blood Bank housed within Pulse Veterinary Specialists and Emergency. As such, we always have blood and plasma on hand.
Q 4. Do you direct bill my insurance company?
Ans 4. We offer direct billing for many of the major insurance companies, however, some do not offer direct billing as an option. Please call us if you have direct billing questions.
Q 5. Is my pet ever left unattended?
Ans 5. No! we have at least one veterinarian and multiple registered veterinary technologists, as well as support staff on-site at all hours.
Q 6. Do my records get sent to my family veterinarian?
Ans 6. Absolutely! We send the records within 24 hours of your family member leaving the hospital. We work closely with your veterinarian to ensure the best possible care and continuity is provided.
